Due to a faulty supply on PPE during the initial stages of the COVID-19 lockdown in the UK, we were put in touch with a local hospital that needed faceshields. Using an open source model, we used the Baden Lab laser cutter to make +100 of those.

I’m interested in making research and education more accessible with open source tools.
